Y’know, now that you mention it…I thought it was just my imagination, but the CCUS Knowledge Centre actually *didn’t* answer that question in their release. Odd, isn’t it?

Oh no! That would be so terrible! What would we do if we couldn’t spend gobs and gobs of money on a “solution” that doesn’t work and only applies to a tiny minority of situations anyway?! Why, we might have to fall back on . . . using cheap renewables that don’t cause air pollution! The horror!

Thanks, Teresa. That’s been a big issue in the U.S., as you might know. Question to readers: Has anyone heard the Pathways Alliance pronounce itself on this? (I haven’t.)

Pipelines carrying the liquefied gas under high pressure will be prone to leaks, just as oil pipelines leak and burst under pressure. Sudden, unexpected release of liquefied CO2 would pose a hazard to anyone in the vicinity of such a pipeline. What does the industry have to say about this?

When $$ drive the agenda you get the Titanic ending. When innovation and community collaboration drive the agenda you get a Ford production line that Allow tge masses to become part of a more productive world. With one reality at sometime as the mass grow, you need a more innovative way to do more with less, at a cost that always require.
Applying innovation and community collaboration to go from 20th century horse & buggy silo vision. To a 21st century Global community sustainable vision. Not because we want to but because we are doing more damage than good. As COVID showed. We have no borders when it comes to u sustainable problems.. The question is not is the “Tide of Change” coming it’s here. Let see if we are mature enough to collaborate like we did with COVID or allow those that think like Trump & Putin. To open the doors to a past we can no longer afford but may not be mature enough to understand why freedom of choice has to be about accountability to the young’s vision. Not the olds.
